Vadodara: A total of 75,353 students from Vadodara will appear for their board exams that will begin from Monday. As the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will conduct the exams for students of Class 10 and Class 12 from Monday, on Sunday, hundreds of anxious students and their parents reached the exam centres based on their roll numbers.Several schools displayed the list of candidates along with their roll numbers and room numbers outside the exam centres for the ease of students and their parents. In Class 10, 47,312 students will appear for their exams that will be conducted at 156 exam centres in 1,618 blocks in four zones. In Class 12, 28,041 students will be 107 exam centres in two zones and 1,017 blocks for which arrangements have been made. There are 20,493 students who have registered for their exams in science stream of Class 12, whereas 7,548 students will appear for their exams in general stream. Officials have also started a control room to help students who are facing problems in locating their exam centres. The control room will remain operational till March 26.
