NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the crowd at the Nashik Youth Festival with a special message for the young generation.
He urged people to “undertake cleanliness campaign in temples, pilgrimage centres ahead of Ram temple inauguration”.
He also said that the youth is the future of the nation and it is up to them to “take India to new heights in the Amrit Kaal”.”Today, India’s youth is becoming brand ambassadors of yoga and ayurveda,” said the PM while encouraging the crowd on National Youth Day.
The PM also hinted towards the upcoming Lok Sabha elections talking about how there are many who’ll be voting for the first time and how they can be the ones who’ll “bring new energy and power to our democracy”. He said, “India is the mother of democracy. If youth express their political views by casting their votes, the future of the country will be good.”
“It is imperative for the youth to give top priority to their duties and responsibilities for the development of the society and the nation,” the PM added as he requested the youth to participate in the country’s democratic process.
He also attacked the “Parivarvad” politics and mentioned how it has caused a lot of damage in the country.
PM Modi also spoke about the millet year and how they were associated with the poor but now millets have come back as “superfood” and reaching the people.
Prime minister is Maharashtra to inaugurate the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, India’s largest sea-bridge. During the visit, he’ll also launch several developmental projects in Maharashtra.
