After nearly seven years since its establishment in March 2017, the weekly event series Boxout Wednesdays in New Delhi will wrap up its operations this February.
The specific cause of its closure remains undisclosed.
Having hosted artists such as the now Grammy-winning rapper Flowdan, MEMBA, Daedulus, Madstarbase, and DJ Mo City, its dedication to maintaining a music-centric space amidst the ever-evolving dynamics of the industry has set a precedent for other platforms and venues, inspiring a new wave of innovation and resilience within the Indian music scene.
As per the announcement, Boxout Wednesdays will conclude its run with exciting collaborations, including a partnership with sneaker brand VegNonVeg on February 7th, showcasing performances by Kayan and Dr. Psych.
Additionally, there will be a Valentine’s Day special show with Lush Lata on February 14th. The final event on February 21st will highlight talents from London’s Debonair and Manchester-via-Ibiza artist Ruf Dug.
