Best Apple Watch Deals: Direct Discounts and Trade-In Offers Bring Prices Down

[ad_1]

Apple Watches consistently ranks among the best smartwatches on the market, and if you’re looking to snag one for yourself and remain within the Apple ecosystem, you have a couple of good options up for grabs. The high-end Ultra 2 is Apple’s most premium option right now, although currently, the only savings you will find are through trade-in value offers. You can find direct discounts on the powerful, albeit less fancy, Series 9.

If you’re willing to spring for an older model, there are a handful of bargains available, including deals on the second-gen Apple Watch SE and Series 8. Some of the older models are more difficult to find in stock, such as the Apple Watch Ultra. Because of limited stock, prices do tend to fluctuate, especially with retailers like Amazon and Walmart, but we will continue to update this list with the best deals as we find them.

It’s also worth noting that Apple is in the middle of an ongoing patent dispute, which means that the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models no longer include the blood oxygen monitoring feature.

Released back in 2022, the second-gen Apple Watch SE is the most recent Apple Watch that hasn’t been affected by the lawsuit, which means it’s still available from Apple and most retailers. It offers a slew of upgrades over the first generation, including the same processor as the Watch Series 8, crash detection and a few others. It’s already one of our favorite budget-friendly smartwatches and right now you can pick it up through Amazon or Walmart for $60 off.

While sales have resumed for the Apple Watch Series 9 (minus its blood oxygen functions), you may still want to opt for the previous generation Series 8 instead. Supplies for this older model are pretty limited, but right now at Walmart, you can save $40.

Due to an ongoing lawsuit over its blood-oxygen sensing system, Apple has officially removed the blood-oxygen feature in the Series 9 and Ultra. If you’re looking to buy one, be sure to get a deal, particularly if that feature was one you were looking forward to using.

While the high-end Apple Watch Ultra 2 has no direct discount, you can save some extra cash with Best Buy’s trade-in program if you have an eligible device you’re willing to hand over. For example, a 1st-gen Ultra in good condition can score you a $275 refund.
