Prayagraj: The authorities of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and other hindu frontal organisations on Monday launched the distribution of pujit akshat (unbroken rice used in puja), patrak (invitation), pataka and photo of Ram temple among Hindu families in the city. Jagatguru Shankarachrya Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati launched the distribution of pujit Akshat, patrak and photo of Lord Ram temple on the initiative of RSS (South city wing) on Monday and Shankaracharya handed over first invitation to Sachhadham colony resident, OP Pandey.
Enthused RSS, VHP and other hindu frontal organisations workers have started the distribution work at separate spots across the district with an aim to cover each and every house of Hindu community. From posh colonies to slums, from Ganga paar to Yamuna paar, all residential colonies, apartments, slums, and 4,000 villages will be covered till January 15. After dividing Sangam city into five zones including Prayag Uttar, Prayag Dakshin, Naini, Ganga Par and Yamuna par, volunteers have also divided all five zones into 17 sectors each for the smooth distribution of Akshat, patrak and photo of Lord Ram temple.
A senior RSS functionary told TOI, “The work of distribution of pujit Akshat, patrak, and photo of Lord Ram temple among 2 lakh Hindu houses will be carried out between January 1 and 15. Over 300 teams have been formed to cover each and every house in 100 wards in city and over 4,000 villages of the district. Volunteers of Ramlila committees in villages and Durga puja committees in city areas have also been roped in for distribution”. Besides, volunteers associated with Patanjali and Gayatri Pariwars, saints of Sikh, Baudh and Jain sects have also come forward for the distribution of akshat (unbroken rice used in puja), patrak (invitation), pataka and photo of Ram temple.
Over 5 lakh volunteers of RSS, VHP and other Hindu frontal organisations are roped in for the smooth distribution of Akshat, patrak and photo of Lord Ram temple in over 22,000 villages and block\ towns of 20 districts of Kashi Prant between January 1 and 15.

The Congress will decide later on whether party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi will attend. PM Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and over 6,000 others are expected to attend the ceremony.

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) criticizes CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury for declining an invite to the consecration ceremony at Ram Temple in Ayodhya. VHP mocks Yechury’s communist ideology and suggests he should return to Ram, Ramatva, and Bharat. VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal questions whether Yechury’s opposition is to Lord Ram or his own name. Bansal urges Yechury to join Ram and Ramatva for his own benefit and warns of public backlash. VHP calls for a clarification from Yechury and states that the country is embracing Ram and Ramatva.
