Rajkot: A construction contractor was killed in Jamnagar over old animosity on Thursday night.
Police have booked Samat Vasara, Ajay Vasra, Vajshi Vasra and Rahul Vasra for the murder of Bhimshi Ambaliya (45). According to a complaint registered with Sikka police station by the victim’s wife, the relatives of accused Samant had killed the victim’s brother seven years ago and since then the two families have been at loggerheads.She alleged that due to old animosity, the four accused killed her husband. Samat and Vajshi are brothers and Rahul is a son of Samat.

78-year-old advocate Joao Patricio DSouza died in a car accident at Guirim. He lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a coconut tree on the road divider. The accident occurred at 3.30pm on Wednesday. DSouza was driving from Porvorim to Mapusa. He was declared brought dead at the North Goa district hospital. A case of self-accident was registered. DSouza had stopped practising law.
Four held for murder of 17-year-old in south Delhi over old enmity
Four men were arrested in south Delhi for fatally stabbing a 17-year-old boy in the Dakshinpuri area. The police received a call reporting the attack and found that the victim had sustained six stab injuries. He was taken to AIIMS hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The police registered a case of murder and common intention and arrested four individuals based on CCTV footage. During questioning, one of the suspects revealed that he had an old enmity with the victim, who had slapped him on Diwali.
