Hyderabad: India-2 defeated USA-2 12-7 in the semifinals of the International Arena Polo Championship at the Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club in Aziznagar on Saturday. India dominated in the first chukker securing a 5-1 lead. Though there was nothing to separate between the two teams as both scored three each, India got a one-goal lead in the third chukker (4-3).
For India, Kaushik Kumar scored six goals while Yousuf Azmi netted four. For USA, Carolina Vissers scored four goals while Dorn Cox scored three.
India-2 will take on Spain in the final on Sunday
In the exhibition match, Inhabit defeated Radha TMT 10-4. Arun Jupally scored eight goals for Inhabit while Chaya Viabase netted two.
