Hyderabad: Prohibition & excise inspector at Jadcherla excise station in Mahbubnagar was caught red handed when he demanded and accepted a bribe of ₹65,000 from complainant R Tirupataiah Goud, a toddy businessman from Bhootpur. The bribe was to conduct tree for tappers (TFT) test of complainant and his sons and forward it to excise superintendant to issue TFT licences.Prior to this, on January 19, the accused had already accepted ₹25,000 bribe. Accused has been arrested. tnn
