Ludhiana: A 58-year-old man died at Ludhiana railway station after he fell on the platform while walking towards the tracks to board a train.
The deceased, Bhagmal was a resident of Atal Nagar, Rahon road here.
Investigation officer (IO) Mohinder Singh said, “Bhagmal, along with his wife, had booked tickets for the Golden Temple train for Meerut. When the train arrived at the station, he fell on the platform while trying to board it.”
“The man was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where he was declared dead,” he added.
As per the doctors, Bhagmal suffered a heart attack when he fell while going towards the train, said the IO.
