Nagpur: The annual walkathon for media persons will be held by Sports Journalists Association of Nagpur (SJAN) on Sunday. The walkathon, having 3km and 5km events, will be flagged off from Annabhau Sathe Square, Deekshabhoomi, at 6am.
The walkathon is being organized in association with Nagpur District Athletics Association. The walkathon will be flagged off by Vitthal Singh Rajput, Police Inspector, Bajaj Nagar Police Station.
Prizes will be distributed by Ram Diwakar, CEO, Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank Limited. Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, director, Department of Physical Education and Sports, Nagpur University, and Gurudeo Nagrale, president, Nagpur District Athletics Association, will also be present during the prize distribution function. tnn
