Nagpur: The additional sessions court on Tuesday sentenced 24-year-old Nilesh Badwaik to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of ₹10,000 for bludgeoning one Ramlal alias Pyarelal Ahake to death with a stick and stones, at Mohpa in Kalmeshwar in 2018.
Ahake had in 2016 thrashed Badwaik and left him seriously injured. The attack had come after a dispute regarding grazing of lambs and goats.
After the thrashing incident, Ahake had fled from Mohpa and returned around a month later to stay at nearby Mohpa again.
Badwaik had then attacked Ahake when he was sitting beside a bonfire. Badwaik was arrested by Kalmeshwar police and charged with murder. tnn

The court found the accused guilty after evaluating the evidence presented.
